Reverting changes
Every change published by the Fix Sprint is stored with its original value. You can revert any individual change within 30 days of publishing.
How to revert a change
- Go to Step 5 — Results in the Agentic Prep app
- Find the change you want to revert in the changelog
- Click Revert next to that item
- Confirm the revert
The original value will be restored to your store immediately via the Shopify Admin API.
What can be reverted
- Description rewrites — your original description is restored
- Attribute mappings — the metafield is deleted (your original attribute values were never modified)
- Schema markup — the Theme App Extension entry for that product is removed
- LLMs.txt — the file can be removed or reverted to a previous version
- GTIN/MPN values — restored to the previous value (or cleared if there was no previous value)
What cannot be reverted
- Rejected changes — changes you rejected in Step 3 were never applied and don’t appear in the changelog
- Changes older than 30 days — the revert window closes 30 days after the publish date
- Manual edits made in Shopify admin — if you manually edited a field after publishing, Agentic Prep cannot restore the original value from before the Fix Sprint (it can only restore what it changed)
Reverting everything at once
If you want to undo the entire Fix Sprint, you can revert all changes from the Results page using the Revert All option. This restores every published change to its original value in a single operation.
After the 30-day window
Once the revert window closes, changes are permanent from Agentic Prep’s side. You can still manually edit any field in Shopify admin. If you need help identifying what was changed after the window has closed, the changelog PDF (exportable from the Results page) contains the original and new values for every change.
